I just volunteered to chair the Science Fair at my DD's school - Help!

The school actually has not had a Science Fair for ages. I wanted to do one because my 6yo DD is very interested in science. So, I volunteered to do this.

I have to write up a proposal for the PTA to review. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to set up a good science fair? Any resources? Websites?

I wish I had some resources to share with you, but I'm afraid I don't. I did want to express my admiration, though. It's wonderful that you have taken this on. My children always enjoyed participating in science fairs.

The best fairs had clear guidelines for the students and projects, including ethical considerations (no experimenting on family pets or little brothers!). We liked having an idea of expectations - it helps to reduce the competitive aspect.
