I've tried like heck to figure out the best place to put this...sorry if this isn't the best forum. But here goes...
My dd, 7 mos. old, EBF, keeps getting a rash in the folds under her neck. It smells yeasty to me & I'm trying to think of something I can put on it that is natural, but also keeps the yeasties away. I've tried shea butter with a couple drops of GSE mixed in with adequate results, but it comes back pretty quickly. Wiping with soap & water does not work. I've thought about cornstarch or something dry, but I'm afraid the corn sugars would actually feed the yeast.
I decided maybe there was something on the market already for just this issue? Or, WWYD?

I think you're right that it's partly my nutrition. I am eating well in most respects (no chemicals in my food, good amount of protein & wapf-approved fats, whole grains, fresh veggies, no fast food or crud like that) BUT I'm also eating too many sweets. And I can't get myself to stop. I'm trying, but it's an up-down, better some days than others kind of thing. I know it is feeding her yeast, how could it not?
So, while I work at avoiding sweets, I still need to help out her rash in a topical way.
