I have two different materials that seem similar to PUL, one thinner than the other. These were both given to me, so I really don't know exactly what they are. They have a shiny, smooth side and a knit side. I would like to test them out to see if they might work for a diaper cover.
When a cover claims to be "breathable", I sort of wonder how it could be while still being waterproof. I tried breathing through a few of my covers (imse vimse, bummis, kushies) and certainly couldn't get any air that I could detect through the fabric!
I'm also going to do a wash test with the fabrics first, to see how they fair. Anything else I should check for before I spend time making covers?
