All Harry Potter movies to receive new extended releases.

I'm confused, it's not clear if this means they've made actual new content for each of the movies. That would be amazing and I'd very curious to see it all.

Or does it simply mean that they're reissuing all the movies with new extras?

Doesn't 'extended release' imply footage of the movie that wasn't in the theatrical release? Kind of like all the neat scenes from the LotR's dvds that we didn't see in the theater, that really added to the story.

Regardless, I'm very cynical about this. I know I take HP too seriously, but it's still sad and makes me a little irked. :

I can't wait; I don't even care if they are doing it for the money. I will gladly hand over my money for more HP.

I hope it's additional scenes, not bonus features. I'll buy new DVDs if they have more scenes that weren't in the movies, but I wouldn't bother for more features. I just wish they would have done it right away!
