online surveys

Hey I was wondering if anyone knows of any reputable online survey sites besides pinecone research. I am already signed up with them and love it but am scared to sign up with any other ones unless I know they are good. I'm also a member of mypoints and swagbucks here's the link to that if anyone wants to sign up and help me out =) http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/bekahj
You get points for searching the internet and you can trade them in for giftcards. TIA

I get e-mails from imommies.com. she often sends links to surveys. Getting accepted for them, though, is rare.

I just checked out Pinecone - I'd never heard of it before. Nowhere does it say how much they pay. Can you supply any details, BekahJ?

Yes they pay $3 per survey. They take about 10-15 minutes to complete each survey I've been getting a couple every week which doesn't seem like much but I'm hoping it will add up. I usually get my check in the mail about a week after I've taken the survey or you can have it transfered into a paypal account. Moneysavingmom.com will usually put up a post when they are accepting applications. I found out about if from her and really like it.

How exactly do you sign up on the pincone site? I went there and went to surveys and tons of different ones came up. Which ones are legit?"

I'm signed up with savvysurvey.com and receive emails to participate in surveys alllll the time. However, when I go to the survey, I often don't "qualify" (after prescreen questions) to take the survey and therefore do not get paid. I've been signed up with them for over a year and have yet to qualify, BUT I also do not click on a bunch of them. In the email, it tells you how long it will take and what the payout will be. It is often a random drawing and those just don't interest me.

FWIW: Focus groups and medical research studies often pay well, but you have to be willing to do what they ask of you and they often involve driving somewhere in your general area.

I loved being a part of Pinecone!

However, in my months PP I wasn't able to take time for surveys (I was, basically, a single parent until DH got done with military stuff) so they removed me from the panel...

They are, however, the only panel I've come across that pays for each survey taken immediately.

I like and use:

Harrispoll
Opinion Outpost
Toluna
KidzEyes (mostly for kids, but have parent surveys too)

I really like pinecone. I have an extra invite email from last week if anyone is interested, just PM me and I'll forward it to you.

I am also a big fan of opinion place. You can do one survey a week from them and they generally pay a couple dollars per survey. They also send special invitation ones a couple times a week.

I also do well with mindfield online. They tend to do a lot of product testing and I generally get into $5 to $10 testing with them.

I'm also on meredith communispace which pays $10 per month just for participating in their discussion forums or doing a survey once a week. That one is invitation only and I don't have any invitations to give away.

i like harrispoll. You don't get money but you can get stuff so i always went for the giftcards...it took a while to get enough points, but after 5 or 6 surveys or so i could redeem a 5 dollar starbucks card or a 5 dollar best buy card (or barnes and noble too I think). But they also didn't send me the emails very frequently so it took a few months or so for them to add up.

Thanks so much!!! I usually just check moneysavingmom.com and she will have a link up every once in awhile telling you that pinecone is accepting applications and will have the link.
