Gardening by Cycles of the Moon

Has anyone ever tried gardening by cycles of the moon? If so, have you had much success? I'll be planting my first ever garden next year and doing it this way intrigues me.

I have played around with this technique a bit! I really think it works. I planted two bunches of beans- one when the moon was waning and the other about two weeks later when it was waxing. The ones that i planted when the moon was waxing are bigger, produced faster and longer!! I planted most of my garden at the appropriate time according to the moon, and my garden seems much more productive than my most of my friends, who don't plant according to cycle. I am convinced that it really does make a difference, and will always do it this way!
