PP Mamas, is the weight dropping off yet?

I am SO anxious to nurse this weight off!
I was 208 on delivery day and am at 195 now.
I started at 160-165... only 30 pounds to go. Should only take me the next nine months or so.

I have 35 to get to my prepreg of 210, it is soooo depressing, never had so much left. I was 256 a couple of days before he was born and now 245 two days ago, 4 days PP. This after losing over 60lbs and just getting to my prepreg weight after Eiley. I want to get to 155-160 which I was doing when we were surprised to be expecting Finnian when Eiley was 4 months. Anyway I am working hard at eating well, but I put my scale away until Sunday so I can weigh once a week.

I am so swollen I am not showing much loss at all, but maybe I can eventually pee it all off

I had very minor weight gain this pregnancy and am technically already down to pre-pregnancy but hope to drop more or at least not gain while breast feeding. That would stink!

Ugg 195 prepreg.

215 before delivery

I dont know what I am right now because I am scared to look. I am hoping to nurse away alot of the pounds but with DS1 I never did lose more then my prepreg weight. My stomach looks horrible. I have noticed parts of my body are smaller. Like my legs, arms, face, right under my breast before my flabby post partum belly. Yuck lol.My jeans dont fit the same as for my wider hips.

But I am hoping to get to about 160 as a goal weight. I keep tellin myself to stop eating everything because I am constantly eating lol. I gotta keep up with my lil chubby guy that is such a great nurser. But maybe the chocolate granola bars are the problem.

I gained 45 pds this time around. Most of it turned into plain ol' fat. Very little water gain with one. I lost 20 pounds the first week, 5 pds the second, and 5 pds the third. I've been weighing myself once a week only. My weight loss with the first was absurdly fast + I lost all of my extra graduate school weight as well. This time it is a lot slower and I can see the fat/love handles. *sigh*

Luckily, I don't seem to have the hugh eating urges I had with the first.

It seems like 160lbs is the goal for lots of us!

I know I was VERY swollen and I think that is why I am down 13 pounds in 12 days, it is slowing down, though....

I will probably plateau at 170 like I always do, but I am looking forward to that weight. I am eating everything in sight, too. I am SO hungry, but am craving healthy stuff at least. Lots of good fats, fruits, oatmeal, etc.

I weighed myself 2 days after birth and already lost 20 lbs. It doesn't hurt that DS was half of that weight! I have 20 pounds more to lose!

I gained 50 and have 24 left to lose
I gained 23 and have about 12 to lose (but that's including jumbo F boobs ). I'm 3 weeks PP, and expect to lose 5 more pounds by 6 months PP and be back at my pre-pregnancy weight by next summer.

down 15 lbs in six days, but my belly is still swollen out like i'm a few months along i guess i have about 25 lbs left to lose. i am also rocking some jugs, though.

I started at 122lbs and ended at 172lbs. I'm down to 154lbs now, so I have about 32lbs left to lose. I'm only 1 week pp, so I suspect that more will drop off in the following weeks. It took me about 5-6 months to get back to my pre pregnancy size before.. Die fat, die!!!
little early for that, dontcha think?

Well, for me anyway, I don't start really losing for at least 10 or so weeks. Then it drops off fairly quickly. I'm generally back to where I was pre pregnancy within 5 months/

I think I am loosing weight too fast. I don't know how much I gained in the end, maybe 30lbs. And I don't have a scale, but I know what clothes I can and cannot fit in, and I almost have a flat stomach, and size 8's are now baggy. That is just crazy fast for me. I got so skinny eating nonstop and breastfeeding my dd. I had50 lbs to loose from her pregnancy, but only having 30 to loose, I am a little nervous about getting too skinny again. I am trying to eat as much as I can and not hold back the portions. I am just so hungry.

I was up to 197 the day I gave birth, and am no down to 170-175ish... was 145 prepreggo... 135 before my first.

I gained 22lbs and was slightly underweight when I got pg. I have 11lbs left, but I'm sure I won't lose that until I stop BFing. my body needs those extra lbs to feed baby.

Just like me with my ds, though i started off in the mid 170s I suspect, I never got down past 190, never fully weaned, but when I partially weaned I put about 15 back on... now I'm at *ahem* 223. Yikes!

Here is hoping I get a little more nutritionally focused this time round.... mind you I'm still nursing ds! He's 3! never saw that comming

I think I have about 20 - 25 lbs to lose to be normal for me - I expect it to take a year considering how this baby seems to be nursing. It just takes a while. I am "fortunate" in my genetics to be relatively "skinny", but I need that body fat to be able to nurse AND live a busy life!

I haven't had my baby but thanks for reminding me I wanted to buy a scale. I'm not sure how much I gained but I know I usually lose a good 8lbs just in that first day. Not sure if that will happen because I'm certainly older than when I had my last 3.

I am REALLY watching it. Prior to getting pregnant I was getting ready to compete in a Figure competition. The weight issue was a lot easier with Abrielle because I did not nurse and could hard core diet and work out.

I was 119 prior to pregnancy. My preferred weight is somewhere between 110-115 when I am not competing and somewhere around 100-105 when competing.

So I gained 28 and have 7 left to lose until I am prepregnancy. I will most likely not be able to do much less than that until I am not nursing. It just requires my caloric intake to be very low. Priorities, right?
