We are creating a website for posting classes and tutor services, searchable by category and location, such as by athletics, academics, fine arts, north, south, east. With subcategories like drama, violin lessons, gymnastics, dance, tap, equestrian lessons, ballroom dancing, Bible study, sign language classes, swimming, Latin classes, etc.
Also with a "feedback" option attached for homeschoolers to post their comments about their experience with different classes and tutors.
We're also going to have additional posting categories, such as "buy, sell, trade, for hire, etc", just for homeschoolers. We'd like folks to be able to advertise curriculum for sale, yard sales, teens for hire, childcare, business offerings (handman work, sideline accountant, grass mowing, scrapbooking for sale, etc. etc) locally.
And a category for "Free Stuff" like used books and toys, kinda a Freecycle for homeschooler to homeschooler sharing.
Does something like this exist already for homeschoolers nationally, or locally in your area?
