I had to return something that was worth about $200 and the company paid for its return and shipped me a prepaid mailer. I paid for the tracking and soooo glad I did! I called today to see if they got it yet because I didn't feel like going to the car to find the tracking number and was told they didn't get it yet. It was sent priority mail 9 days ago.
So I go out into the nasty heat and find it and look it up, yep, they got it 6 days ago. I call them back and suddenly they magically find it within 2 minutes and tell me I should have my check in about 2 weeks. If I hadn't had tracking I would have been outta luck and outta my $200.
So, its ALWAYS worth it to spent the extra .50 cents to get tracking
Getting insurance is usually a good idea too in case the PO loses it
