nursing foot stool?

I did not have one with ds and didn't miss it. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts? Do I need one?

I never used one. I like to get all crossed legged or recline on the couch myself. I never even thought about using one. Seems like extra work to have to go get it every time I want to nurse, not to mention, you can't take it with you everywhere you go, right?

I never used one. I tend to tailor sit to nurse.

I used one & liked it but it wasn't essential. My rocker had an ottoman with it & I mostly used the stool at one couch where it just made it more comfortable. I gave it to my sil who is about 5'1" & I think she used it a lot more so height may have something to do with it also (I'm about 5'6").

I have one and like it but it's not essential. I got it because I don't have any ottomans or footstools to begin with. It was a bit of a pain to have one more thing to get set up before nursing though.

I did really enjoy it late in pregnancy though to rest my mega-swollen feet and calves!

When I feel like I want my legs a little higher, I use my yoga block. It works great, especially because I usually only want to elevate one side at a time, and you can adjust the height by changing which side the block is sitting on. And I didn't have to spend any money, because it was something I already owned. I just leave it sitting on the floor by our favorite nursing location.

once when my daughter was sick, she only wanted me to hold her in this funny little chair from a bistro set, and nurse all day. i wished for a footstool, ended up stacking phone books.

I used one only in the very beginning as new nursing mom but just to get him at the right level. try freecycle see if you can find one for free if you really want one.
