Confess your embarrassing music/movie likes here

So does anyone have any "embarrassing" or secret music or movie tastes? Things that you just wouldn't want to admit to your peers.

Fess up, you know you want to.

I'm 26 years old, and must admit I really like listening to Miley Cyrus. I have all her songs on my ipod.

I hide them on my ipod under a folder named "classical opera" ... mainly because my dp hates opera, and so would never look there. If he ever saw Hannah Montana on my ipod, he'd tease me mercilessly until my dying day.

I also really love watching cheesy movies made for young teens or tweens. : I take my dp's niece to all such movies - she's such a great excuse to see them.

Your turn.

I love Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift. I've watched it a dozen times. Love Han. Love the drifting.

um....Taylor Swift? my kids got me hooked on her.

My cheesy music is definitely N'Sync. My son loved them when he was little and even shares a birthday with Justin Timberlake. He and I can do every single dance move from a video that they released, and sign off our im's and texts with "By, Bye, Buy."

And my favorite cheesy movie is Tremors. Just the first one. I will stop whatever I am doing and watch it every time it is on.

Joe Dirt. It reminds me of my childhood, especially the part about the guys thinking their cars are all that.

I'm on board with both of yours, Sailor. I like Miley Cyrus and would have her music on my ipod even if my daughter didn't request it, and tween/teen movies (and shows on the Disney Channel) entertain me.

I'm not ashamed, though. And hey, at least my kids like the same things so they were happy when mom wanted to go see the recent Hannah Montana movie.

Eminem . . . . I'm 39. :

The movie 'Something Wicked this way Comes' based on the ray bradbury novel. It's cheesy but damn I love Mr. Dark.

'Jesus Christ Superstar'

musically? I am a big fan of alternative/industrial/ and 60's, 70's rock-I can argue about rock guitarists and influences from early rock/punk down the line to recent day. I mean I am a music SNOB.
But l love raver-techno dance music as well. That's a big embarassment for me sometimes..

I totally respect the hell out of how he came up from nothing. I also dig some of his music...and I'm 37 so no worries!

I'm another Eminem fan. I'm not embarassed by it, though. Also,I will always love Tupac. No matter how old I get.

Kinda funny b/c my DH, while he does like some rap/hip-hop, is all about hardcore music (Madball, Sick of it All) which is soooo not my genre - I just tolerate it when I have to.

I do hate to admit that I kinda like Miley's new song - the one my DD plays over and over again - "Their playing my song...there's a party in the USA" (I don't know the name).

I love the song "Said I Loved You But I Lied" by Michael Bolton. It makes me cry. Michael Bolton.

Also, I love bad pop music. I love old bad pop music, too. I love Robbie Williams and Kylie, I newly love If You Seek Amy. I love Spice Girls. As long as I can easily learn the words and sing along, I love it.

I thought of my MOST embarassing movie - I loved The Patriot and went through a phase of watching it almost every day. It's just like Braveheart - The New World, but I still liked it. Now I don't get it. WHAT was I thinking?

Movie: I LOVE the Mummy series. And this movie called Where the Heart Is with Natalie Portman.

Music: I got a Lazy Town cd for dd a few years ago and she has outgrown it but I haven't . Every time I put it on she rolls her eyes and wants to listen to something else . I'm also another Britney Spears music fan. I have her Greatest Hits and Circus on my iPod, they're awesome to work out to.
