Getting tests run

one of my daughters is allergic to millk. I know this because since we eliminated it she's been much better. However, we've never been formally diagnosed, I have an upcoming appointment.

After reading lots on allergies, I want a full immune panel run, which I understand to be a blood test. I want to test food, environment, etc. Yet most doctors will only do a skin prick to test for food allergies.

Since I'm new to all of this, what tests can I get run for my daughter? Also, she's only 17 months old, and I hear of most places not doing to skin prick for children under 2. I also hear the skin test is not very accurate. Our family doc is on vacation this week and returning on Monday. All of this went down the thursday before he left for vacation so I only was able ot talk to him once, and since I was new, I didn't know what to ask for. Help!

What were her reactions? Keep in mind that she may be intolerant and not allergic, depending on her reactions. Our allergist did skin prick testing when my DS was an infant (it was negative; he was intolearant).
