He phoned the other day and he started stammering saying he needed to talk to me about something. I was bracing myself thinking uh oh... It turns out he was phoning to try and convince me NOT to circ if this baby is a boy.

His words is that he'd hoped they stopped that barbaric practice in my brother and wanted share his research on it. Sounds like it was tough for your dad to bring it up but yay him for having the courage!
