Calcarea Carbonica discussion? - Page 2

yes, calc carb is a calcium remedy and is from the shell of an oyster. It is felt by many that it aids in the assimilation of calcium. How did she respond?

I just gave her one dise of a 30 c since that is all I have in my kit, so I will probably repeat the dose. I havent seen a difference except that she hardly speaks at all, and when she does, she just says one word, but for the last few days, she has been saying 2 words at a time. Big improvement for her. She also has alot of fear and I am hoping that will change.
When she was sick last week, she was afraid to throw up, and would cry and try to keep her mouth shut, and want to swallow it. Sorry if tht is TMI, but it was strange tha she wouldn't let go, and was so afraid.

poor little one! I hope she does feel better.

On a side note...you could always dowse for different potencies if you are in to that kind of thing....

She is all good now. It was only for one day, and the throwing up stopped when I gave her aconite which I just had a feeling she needed and the bottle I have said for "fear" on it. Right after, she asked for food and ate 2 eggs, 2 pieces of toast, cheese, and a cultured pickle. She was fine after that.

I plan on dowsing for the calc carb again, I can get higher potencies from my mother who is a homepath if I need. I like to work with lower potencies preferably, but I did give my 4 week old son a 10m of silica today for his severe breastmilk jaundice. That was of my mothers reccomendation. He is more yellow than ever after that high dose though.

yikes....I hope that's a worse before better yellow! Sending happy liver vibes to your little one!

And I am personally enamoured of the lower potencies myself. I love 5, 7 and 12C's! IN fact, we have seen that people respond similarly to 7C given daily as they do to a one time dose of 1M. It seems to be more gentle and has the added benefit of not being easily antidoted (as you are giving it more frequently.) I didn't necessarily mean go up, just keep your options open!

I went looking for this thread for someone else today and don't recall seeing that you were given tuberculinum. how did it go? In my training, calc carb is a tubercular remedy and I know I have responded well to it when indicated (for me in acute respiratory stuff.)

Anyway...how goes it?
