2 yr old with swollen penis

It seems to bother him. I Thought maybe while playing outside in a swim diaper and getting wet with the hose that maybe a piece of grass or dirt got lodged in there. I put a bit of pressure to see if anything would come out, but nothing did. The swelling seems to have gone down in a warm bath.

Maybe it was just the cold water outside making everying else look bigger? He has not yetretracted as far as I can tell. It ddint' look any different earlier today.

well I used some tea tree oil antiseptic cream and the redness and swelling are gone. I actually think an ant go into his diaper and bit him!! I found two bite mark under his thigh and at the tip of his penis there was a wee dot. So I am thinking that was it. But thank you for all the good info. I printed out some to keep on hand.

Ouchy on the ant bites. I am glad the swelling is gone and he is better.
