Pumping for a friend with cancer?

Thread Starter
Hi.

One of my friends has brain cancer and I read that breast milk may help in the fight against cancer. Does anyone know where I might find more information about this or what the protocol is?

Thanks.

I read this post and it got me interested because 1. it's interesting, and 2. I have cancer and I am lactating.

I found these two articles:
http://www.workingwithkids.org/vault...milk-kill.html
http://discovermagazine.com/1999/jun/featcancer

There's another link but you need a subscription to view the article.

I think I might start drinking my own breast milk.

But does it help if you drink your own or does it have to come from someone else? I just find it fascinating that your own body would make something that can heal oneself, but in order, it first must come out and then go back in again. I'm a little skeptical because of this, but would love to know if this has worked for anyone!
