Night time nursing pads?

I need recs. for nighttime nursing pads--super absorbent (maybe wool?) maybe with PUL on the back so my shirt doesn't get wet? And large enough that even if it shifts around it still covers up my nipples. Right now I'm using Medela flannel ones that aren't absorbent enough, and only like 4-5" so when I move around they are totally displaced. I'm tired of waking up soaking wet

I'm with you! Any recommendations out there?

I gave up and used prefolds.

I have to agree with Angela, there is no pad in existence that would contain a whole night of my leaks. I used a receiving blanket folded into a breast-size square for each boob! And they were often soaked dripping wet.

lana wool are my favorite. They worked overnight for me, and even without PUL on one side, they've never leaked. They are the biggest I've seen too. I just can not stand cotton breast pads. They get cold & that feels gross to me. Oh! I should say the lana pads I've got (2 pair) have lasted through 3 babies & will going on to a fourth this winter. I can't say enough good about them.

I just bought some from the makers of fuzibunz! They seem to be really absorbant l, they are large enough to not let out leaks. They are the micro fleece with a pul backing! A pack of three pair was $10. Love them!!

In the early months those are my day time pads. NO WAY they'd cut it at night for me those first few months.....

i got a Lunablanket at lunapads.com, and leaked on that. It's big, and has a nylon liner. I'd soak it, but my sheets were never wet!

I'm so glad I had it.

here is an idea I wish I'd thought of then: try maxi pads!

Have you tried Lilypadz? They got me through the worst leaking times and now leaks are rare. They're a silicone coverage that stays put beautifully all night long and can be reused for about two months. It puts gentle pressure on the nipple so that you leak less, and what does leak stays trapped. It sounds a little weird but truly, they were a lifesaver! (read reviews on Amazon for some user tips, they were pretty accurate).

I just found a GREAT new product!  They are made by a mom that had this same problem.  They are large, double-breasted pads that you put inside a tank top or nightgown. The awesome part is that you DON'T HAVE TO WEAR A BRA ANYMORE!!  I love it!!!  Try it out.  Their website is www.restassurednursingpads.com.  Or you can buy it off Amazon!
