Share nighttime diapering routines

I use pre folds while at home, bamboo AIOs for outings and seventh gen at night. Would like to cd at night but unsure about what type of dipes to use so hes not soaking and I'm not up changing him all night! Thanks

Here are a couple of my no-fail solutions:

GAD semi-fitted stuffed with a SuperDo with a Dancing Bears cover
GAD fleece pocket with a SuperDo insert
DryBees Gone Natural with a Hemp Babies doubler and a Thirsties cover

I use the same bamboo fitted diapers from bumGenius day and night, these, I always use wool covers/panties, and at night I use a bamboo doubler as well. Works great.
(Well, for small babies I use prefolds at night too, but you have to change them often anyway.)

DD wears a thirsties stuffable aio w/ a swaddlebees hemp insert to bed. It's pretty trim as far as night time diaper go

The only time we had leaks was when they needed to be stripped & I did not realize it. I washed them w/ dawn & they were back to working great

We use a BumGenius AIO with a hemp doubler at night, and have had no leaks! It works wonderfully.

Basically any type of pocket with a super-do works great. AIO's generally don't have enough absorbency, so I find the pocket diapers to be key for night time. For SUPER heavy wetters, I've found a super-do with a prefold wrapped around it works well. It is a bit more bulky, but works.

lately I've been using and orange edge prefold trifolded inside a red edged. I fold the orange edge so that I'm bringing both sides of the serged edge in to have all the thickness in the middle. We always use wool at night... disana, natural blue cloud or babyology are what we have. I don't change her all night. No leaks and often the wool is not even the slightest bit damp.

I think my thirsties aios need to be stripped...they're not absorbent at all. how much dawn do you use in a load? and do you add other detergent too or just the dawn?
