how many of "us" preggos are still left? - Page 2

I'm still pregnant. I've been looking back in my journal from Nov/Dec and trying to figure out if I could be less pregnant than expected- we've had my "due date" as 8/13. My first was born at 41w1d and thanks to some concerns about some medical issues, I've tried a few induction techniques with the blessing of my MW that haven't produced a baby.

I'm at peace with it at this point.

Well, hopefully some of that peace rubs off on me . Hi, girls. One week post-date and hanging in there....

I'm here. I was due on Friday. I did wake up feeling a bit down about it today. I know she'll come when she is ready. DS was 15 days past EDD, so I am trying my best to be patient.

Good luck Mamas

also still here. I was due 8/18. DS was late so I was prepared to go over but I'm getting difficult to be around... hopefully soon. I am going to ask MW to sweep my membranes tomorrow.

I am not even overdue yet chi mama (my due date is the 29th sat.) and I am very difficult to be around. good on all of you mamas who are overdue and still managing to stay sane! I think that at the point that Sat. comes and goes I am going to start crying and pull my hair out!!!

Still hanging in there... 39w1d. I've never gone past 39w5d, so we're either very close or on track to make a record here. LOL! As our basement flooded out Friday night and there's just so much to do now I suppose every day baby hangs in there is a day I can be somewhat helpful in trying to recover. My contractions are definitely intensifying, but they are way too sporadic.

I'm still here with everyone too! EDD is tomorrow, 8/25. Feeling like it's likely going to be a bit longer still, although of course one never does know! Especially when it's the first time...

I keep trying to remember what I always told my pre-natal patients before I was ever pregnant...there's no such thing as a specific due date (or at least there shouldn't be). It's really a DUE MONTH and it's totally normal and natural for baby to be born anytime around the one month range.

Luckily, I'm still feeling pretty good, and as of last week am not working anymore. So I've really been enjoying this time to relax, read, and spend some time alone right now...knowing that I won't have much time to myself anymore in the very near future!

I AM getting anxious to meet this baby and get to know more about him or her (especially to find out if it IS a him or her...I almost went out to buy one of those drugstore tests the other day ).

Last post as pregnant.
Still here today at 42weeks2 days. Never thought I would be. I hope none of you have to go through that.

There is something very weird about knowing when you will have your baby. I think I am more afraid of the pain this time because I can anticipate it. Last time it just happened and I went with it. A little worried it will not allow me to relax enough to get the show on the road this morning.

Still here. My EDD is the 31st. DD1 was 11 days late although this time my cycle was weird and I am hoping the babe will come a bit earlier. Here the hospitals want to induce by 10 post dates so I will have to fight that too if this one doesn't come on its own. Not to mention if it doesn't I can't have my homebirth. Argh. My best friend comes on Saturday from Australia for the birth and I don't want her to miss it but I am so ready to not be preggo anymore.

Pernille, I'm so sorry your baby didn't decide to come last night.

Good luck Stacey!

I was up almost every hour last night with a contraction. I did learn something! I don't like laboring laying down. Those things hurt so much more laying down than when I've had them standing up. At this point I'm having them every 30 minutes but seriously I don't know if it will actually turn into anything. I went to the chiro and she adjusted my pelvis. I'm hoping he can now have the room he needs to get down in there. I've been losing my plug consistently every time I go to the bathroom, since Saturday night. I just want him out! I've never had all this false labor. I've only ever just gone into labor so this is all new to me and I don't like it. I am supposed to get some maternity pictures taken tonight but I wouldn't be sad if I can't make it because I'm having the baby.
