Didn't you just describe an ultimate truth using words? "Everything we perceive here on earth is an illusion"? And yet I understood it. Words have meanings, meanings can be understood: if we didn't both believe that, we wouldn't be in this thread.
If you can't trust the written communication in the Bible because it was written with words by humans, how can you trust the written communication in books or on the internet by NDErs and great spiritual thinkers?
I also don't believe humans "filtered" the Bible: I believe the Holy Spirit told them what to write down, and that they then wrote it down. Not an uncommon Christian view, though by no means the only one.
