Clueless about direct sales opportunity

Not sure where to post this. I've tried reading the guidelines at the top of the forums in the WAHMs.

My friend just became a consultant for Simply Fun. The games are fun and reasonably priced. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge about this business? I'm considering joining as a consultant to get the games at wholesale and would just do a business link in my sig line for anyone to check it out. I'm not into selling, parties, and shows. It appears to be an MLM with a decent product and price. So, maybe some passive income.

I figure, we'd get the games, and either folks would buy, or they wouldn't. That'd be my sales plan, lol. Anyone have advice about this company, or cautions about similar business setups.

Check their required sales quotas. Many direct sales companies have a minimum sale requirement in order to stay active as a consultant.

I didn't sign up. I just bought the (many) games I wanted. My friend is enjoying being a consultant though.

They didn't have any quotas ongoing. But, there was something from year to year to keep your consultant "level", iirc.

I've never heard of it. If you don't want to sign up, you could always host a show in person or via catalog so that you can earn free products.
