What can I do with cream cheese?

I have a small container of cream cheese that will get tossed unless I find a way to use it up..any ideas?

Buffalo Chicken Dip is a HUGE favorite at the parties we have.

My children LOVE cream cheese on TLC crackers as a snack or
as part of lunch. Other crackers would work just fine, too.

My children also love ants on a log, made with celery, cream cheese and raisins on top.

Artichoke dip with corn chips, crackers, cut up veggies, etc.

I love toasted bagels with cream cheese and cucumbers, myself.

Mmm, I second crepes!

Also, yesterday at my baby shower C's aunt made what she called a "fruit pizza". She baked a flat layer of graham cracker crust in a 9x13 and when it was cool she spread on cream cheese and then covered it with strawberries, kiwi, raspberries, and blueberries. It was very tasty! :

You can't slather it really thick all over whole-wheat toast with homemade jam on top and eat it while sitting in front of the computer with a cup of coffee?

'Cause that's what I'd do!!!

If you have a crock pot and a few of these ingredients on hand, you can have a really yummy and easy dinner for tomorrow:


* 4-5 boneless chicken breasts

* 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can black beans

* 1 (15 ounce) can corn/or frozen corn

* 1 (15 ounce) jar salsa, any kind

* 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese


Take 4-5 frozen, yes, frozen, boneless chicken breasts put into crock pot.

add 1 can of black beans, drained, 1 jar of salsa, 1 can of corn drained (or frozen)

Keep in crock pot on high for about 4-5 hours or until chicken is cooked.

Add 1 package of cream cheese (just throw it on top!) and let sit for about 1/2 hour.

I serve over rice or shred chicken and scoop chicken/cream cheese mixture into tortillas.

My aunt makes a yummy dip with cream cheese, chili, and cheese on top. Then just nuke it for like a minute.

I like cream cheese on dark bread with jam on top. We also make cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches. It's extra yummy if you mix in a spoonful of ranch or italian dressing mix with the cream cheese.

We like to use it in scrambled eggs.... add it when the eggs are almost done... with some chives (optional).... and it's really delicious.

You can always make some brownies... and then mix the cream cheese with an egg and a bit of sugar to make a cream cheese toppping. Plop it on top and bake. Delicious.

Bachelor's Delight! A layer of egg noodles, a layer of ground beef (or veggie crumbles), a layer of sauteed onions, a layer of tomatoe paste and then cream cheese on top. Put in the oven on 350 until lightly browned. :

cheesecake chocolate chip muffins:

6oz of cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chocolate chips melted
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. canola oil
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. water
Beat filling until creamy, adding the chocolate chips last. Melt chocolate chips for cake. Combine dry ingredients in one bowl and wet ingredients in another. Add together, adding melted chocolate chips last. Spoon batter 1/2 way in cup. Spoon 1 slightly rounded tablespoon of filling over batter, then remaining batter to fill cup. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool. Makes 12 muffins.

Chop it into chunks and add it to quiche or an egg bake.

Mix with shredded cheddar cheese and melt it over a double boiler, then add prepared horseradish to taste and you've got a great a great cheese dip.

This skillet cabbage is so good. I substitue red peppers for the green ones.
