Groovy girls

Have you guys seen these dolls in Target and other mainstream stores? I kind of like them, but I keep thinking 'I could make that'. Anyone have a pattern for a similar type doll? I have the 'Kit Chloe and Louise' pattern from Wee Wonderfuls, so that's a possibility. I like the fuzzy skin fabric (some kind of velour I guess).

Any thoughts?

We love the Groovy Girls. I ended up finding them for $5 a doll when I looked in places like TJ Maxx, Tuesday Morning, and Marshall's.

I don't think I could make them much cheaper than that, especially not the bride and groom and the flower girl.

If you have any of those stores near you, keep looking. They periodically turn up there at least 50-75 percent off.

be careful of hte groovy dolls and clothes - they had a couple of lead recalls for clothes this past year. we have a couple of them but I still don't trust them much.
