How long does sauerkraut keep in the fridge?

So, I fermented my own kraut for the first time about a month ago, and we've been eating on it, but I still have a TON left. After it fermented to my liking, I stored it in the fridge. How long will it keep there?

I've kept mine in the fridge for up to 9 months, and it was fine. I imagine it would be good for at least a year, though.

I'd guess a year or even potentially more if you leave the brine in it. It goes bad in a few months or less if it doesn't have enough brine (if it was enough brine to make it, its enough brine to store it. Its only a problem if you draw out some of the brine for other uses but leave the kraut behind.)
