Can I use these for my pads?

I'm not sure if this belongs here, or in sewing, or in diaper making. You can move it if need be.

Anyway, I'm about to make my first cloth pads. I was wondering about using microfiber cloth as my inserts. They seem to absorb a lot. Anyone tried them themselves? Any problems anyone can foresee?

Thanks

I don't have personal experience using mf for personal care, but my IRL friend uses mf inserts in her DD's CD ( bum genius, btw). They work really good from what I hear from her.

She says that she washes them with minimal soap or a certain kind of soap and doesn't use fabric softener, because they can get a weird water repellent kinda thing... Now that really sounded like I knew what I was talking about

Maybe I should let someone else cover that detail... But I do know that they work well with CD, so why not give it a shot??
