Why did I not know this show existed before? It's our new favorite show!

Maybe it's the fact that both DH and I are science nerds, but it's still hilarious. Does anyone else see their husbands or sons in Sheldon?

Dh and I LOVE this show! I love how clueless Sheldon is to everything social. I can't wait for the new season to start! I would really love to see Leonard and Penny together.

It is my favorite show. It's one I can repeatedly watch reruns & still laugh.

As funny as Sheldon is, the ones where his mom(Laurie Metcalf, also from Roseanne) shows up are hilarious.

I have only seen about 4 or 5 shows. DH watched his first one last night and before that one was even over, he told me we needed to get all the past shows. Somehow I think we'll be caught up by the time the new season starts

It is one of our favorite shows. And while my husband isn't quite Sheldon, part of the reason we enjoy it so much is that we know Sheldon and Leonard in real life-we can see our own friends reflected in them.

It's a nice reunion of some of the Roseanne cast too-Leslie is played by Sarah Gilbert, Sheldon's mother by Laurie Metcalf, and of course, Leonard. It's kind of fun to see Sara Gilbert and Johnny Galecki together again.

I love this show too! One of my friends turned me on to it because she's good friends with the creator. Of the show, that is. I roll on the floor every week and reruns do nothing to decrease the hilarity. I turned one of my colleagues on to it too. Best.Show.Ever. Except for maybe Soap.

DH and I love, love, love the show, too. It's so hysterically funny, and we love the geeky friendship of the guys. Awesome.

And if you buy the DVDs you can knock off a few at a time as they're only 22 minutes each...

Season 2 is released on DVD this September.

My cousin just turned us on to this show a few weeks ago! We have since then watched every episode!! We LOVE it. The humor in it is just great. We cant wait til the next season starts. I cant believe we never saw it before. DH isnt a science nerd but he is a computer tech and a Sci Fi freak so alot of the humor he gets.

i went to college with the guy who plays Sheldon in Houston so I <3 this show because I thought he was hilarious even in person.

This is one of my new fave shows, maybe because I see "sheldon"-like people all over my home. I work for an engineering firm and have a geek at home so I am surrounded by them.

Last night we went over to visit my best friend and her partner who just had a baby girl. As I was holding and loving on the sweet little babe I noticed that they had the entire first season of Big Bang.

We already watched the first 4 episodes last night and I can't wait to watch the rest this weekend.

My DS1 is just like that. He has his favorite spot on the couch and has a meltdown if someone else is sitting there.

I love this show. My husband has to explain a lot of the nerdy jokes to me (like the chickens in a vacuum joke) but it's fun all the same!

I *think* the only potentially objectionable stuff is sex related so I guess it just depends on how you feel about that. There is a decent amount of discussion of their sex lives, etc. I guess I've never thought about it because my kids are little and in bed by that time of night but I probably wouldn't let them watch if I thought they would understand any of it...not for quite a few years anyway :)

I personally find many of the episodes center around mostly sex and contain multiple sex jokes/references, crude comments, multiple partners ( the main female character was said to have over 30 and is asked how it feels to be a slut by one of her friends) etc. It became excessive to me and I stopped watching.  I did love Sheldon's character a lot though.

I'm not a fan of sitcoms but my mom watches this show so I caught an episode and just died... too funny.

The show is going to have some special guests coming up. Leonard Nimoy is going to be on the show March 29 (although I read in voice only) and Stephen Hawking on April 5.
