That the standard flu vaccine will give ANY protection against the H1N1 flu?

They tried to expose the same to swine flu h1n1 and it didn't take. They added another strain of h1n1 (remember, the swine flu is a novel strain of h1n1) and hope that that may help give some immunity.

Does it seem severe that the CDC is saying up to 90,000 usa citizens could die from the swine flu this year? Are they spinning this so we all rush to get vaccinated? I'm really curious as well if the vaccine would do anything and what testing of it they have done. I am looking here for more information as well.

Regular seasonal vaccine provides no protection for swine flu. It does for flu B which is co-circulating in the southern hemisphere.
