Inglourious Basterds

So has anyone seen it yet?

I thought it was brilliant! Christoph Waltz and Melanie Laurent were phenomenal. I think perhaps Christoph Waltz has given the best acting performance ever. Seriously. And Brad Pitt did pretty well too, but Waltz blew him away.

Tarantino is back! (after his silly Death Proof)

I loved it and will probably go see it again while its still in theaters. I actually really wanted to see District 9,but happy to have seen this movie instead. I do hear good things about District 9...

I liked Death Proof. :

Ok I liked the cars in Death Proof. I don't think, "I really liked Kurt Russell in Death Proof," I think, "I really liked Kurt Russell's Charger in Death Proof," or "I really liked that Mustang in Death Proof."

I've got a date night planned on Saturday and I think we'll see Basterds. It's either that or District 9, but I'm leaning toward Basterds. I usually resist Pitt movies, because they seem to mess up my head. But Tarintino? I usually love his work, so I'll risk it.

I liked it (but had to avert my eyes a few times). I was thrilled that Daniel Bruhl (from "Good Bye Lenin!") and Michael Fassbender (from "Hunger") were in it - they're great actors who deserve a lot more exposure in the US.

FYI: Quentin Tarantino was on Fresh Air with Terry Gross today. It should be online later this evening.

I really want to see this, but I dont do well with certain kinds of violence. Would someone be kind enough to tell me a few things? We could do it in a pm so it doesnt spoil anything for other people.

I try to avoid movies with any kind of rape or sexual abuse of any kind. Any of that in there?
