I'm looking for a traditional creme brulee recipe. Anyone has one? Is it even possible?

I use coconut milk and egg yolks, and it doesn't take much sugar (you could probably use maple syrup or something less refined than cane sugar). My recipe is on www.kathysrecipebox.com. You could probably do it with raw milk but we can't have dairy, so this was my solution.

Well, it depends on what you mean by "traditional". Creme Brulee is a pretty "new" recipie. Basically, it's just cream, egg yolks, sugar & vanilla. You could use raw cream (but then you have to bake it anyways), pastured egg yolks (taste better anyways), honey or maple syrup (but this backfired on me once as the honey I used had a strong flavor which I loved in my tea but not in my creme brulee).
