Yogurt Help

Thread Starter
I'm trying to make yogurt. I ordered cultures from Culturesforhealth.com and received them. I added per directions 1 tsp to 1/2 cup milk and set out. It says to let it set 24-48 hours for the first small batch. Okay, so I've done that and mine still looks a little separated. I can see the whey forming on top but the rest will not "bind" into a creamy looking yogurt. Am I just not leaving it out long enough? I've never done this before so I cannot go on taste or smell. I don't know what the real stuff is supposed to taste or smell like. My house temp is about 75-78 degrees.
Thanks!

Did you let it set in the fridge afterwards for a couple of hours? That's an important step.
