Gerber silicone coated

If not, what should I get? MUST be dishwasher safe. I'm having back problems and handwashing exacerbates it.

I just gave the baby a regular spoon once they were to the spoon-feeding stage. Mostly they fed themselves chunks of things though so it wasn't an issue. I wouldn't have a problem with the gerber spoons.

I asked the same thing a few months back and didn't get any responses.

I'm not allowed to see as I'm not a US resident?!?! What? LOL

Sorry I couldn't be of any help!

I used soft flexy ones, may have been Gerber, they have two colors on them, two to a package. After those I just gave our daughter metal spoons with the plastic handles. Now's she 2 and is usually getting a coffee teaspoon.

I hope so because I used them when my daughter was a baby. I think silicone is pretty inert. That said, I might just go for some regular stainless ones. Thats all I have used for my son. He mostly self-feeds, but I sometimes spoon feed him some soft stuff like yogurt.

I don't know about safety as far as what they are made from, but if they are what I am thinking they are, the coating comes off pretty easily from children chewing on them. I've thrown away a few that have come my way over the years because of big bite marks in them.

We used these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00..._ya_oh_product

I wanted to try to avoid plastics this time and silicone gets chew marks in our house.

These are obviously not baby spoons, but the small size is great, and the short handle helps when they want to try to self feed.
