If you do baby sign language...

do you have a sign for babywearing? or rather for "I want to be worn mom!"

My ds is starting to recognize the kozy and get very excited when he sees it - we're doing signs for common things like milk, mom, dad, diaper, food, water, more and I would love to have a babywearing.

I pat just in front of my shoulder (where the strap goes...) Used it with both kids. Ds now clearly recognizes its meaning and signs it back. It's not ASL to my knowledge, but it works for us (we do try to use real ASL when possible...)

Great! Thanks

I got a couple other replies over at TBW - one person recommended the letter C and then take that from your shoulder to your opposite him - I assume the C is for Carry and then the sling sort of shape. I was also told that some people use the sign for kangaroo since babywearing is also known as kangaroo care. I like the backpack straps though, but I guess it all depends on what type of carrier you use with your kid
