Army active duty Vaccine exemption

Has anyone gone through this process? I saw several threads about children/dependents not being vaxd but not too much info on active duty.

Where do I start the paperwork? My commander? The Chaplain? I'm not sure how my commander will react. I don't want to ask too much at work because I don't to be harassed about it. I want to know what I am doing and know my rights before I am told 'no' by a person who just doesn't want to deal with the issue.

I've *heard* it's VERY difficult and it will exclude you from many jobs and make you un-deployable. If that's okay with you, then I think that you may start with the chaplain.

good luck!

That's what I am afraid of.

The only vax I have to get right now is the hepatitis A, they forgot to give it to me at BCT. Would it be so bad to get just this one vax? I am nursing my 4 m baby (who is NOT vaxed).
