making my own liver and organ capsules is this possible?

thinking about getting my placenta encapsulated has made me wonder about making my own organ capsules. i've been spending a fortune on dr rons liver caps but could i make my own? i've got a dehydrator so i was thinking if i dried out teh liver on that then ground it up and put into capsules would this be the same thing as the ones i'm buying from dr ron? i know that i could just do the frozen liver pills instead but i'm curious now about this! i can't order the other organ pills he sells because customs won't allow it through to UK so perhaps i could make them myself if i get the organs from a good source. anyway i'm just wondering - anyone have any thoughts about it?

I love the idea and am totally going to keep my eyes on this thread. Dehydrating it and making it into a powder...maybe it could then be thrown in smoothies as well...Hmmmm....

I'm watching this one!

I will try it! I am going to the farmers market today and the local meat farmer was going to bring me la few lbs of liver. I will let you know how it goes. I will probably freeze dry it.

Dh made freeze dries ground beef the other day. It came out great. He first cooked the ground beef, rinsed the fat off since fat will make it go rancid if stored long term. It you keep the fat on you have to use it sooner or store it in a really cool place. Then he spread it out on a pan and froze, then he put ib the dehydrator till dry. IT turned out great.

Now I want to see it I can do it with raw liver and not cook it like the ground beef.

So I am half way through. I was going to dehytrate the liver right away, but I ended up with loads of organic bananas and pears for almot nothing, so the dehydrator has been tied up for a bit, but the liver is now in there as I write. I should know tomorrow how it is.

I am also planning on dehydrating greens to powder and use in smoothies for winter.

I did it! It took a long time since I was waiting for my empty capsules to come in the mail.
Thanks bluebell for inspiring me to do this:
