"Pull Up" Dipe Recs.?

DD#2 is starting preschool 2 mornings/week in a couple weeks and she remains totally resistant to potty learning so I'll be sending her in dipes it seems. I'd like her to have some easy on/off option, so that if she's motivated to try to use the toilet when she sees her friends going, she can easily do so. A "training pant" dipe with minimal absorbency isn't going to cut it though since she's really using dipes 100% of the time right now and she'll be needing it to hold up to use throughout the morning without leaks as needed.

Can anyone recommend a good pull-up style cloth diaper that holds a lot? She's 3 yrs. old, about 26 lbs. and long and lean if that helps. Worst case scenario I guess I can send velcro pocket dipes, but I'd ideally like something that she can take off/on on her own.

Thanks!

I don't know, but your three year old and my 9 month old are about the same weight. I'm looking for options for my 3 year old too.

I have not used them yet, but I have been looking at Antsy Pants and am going to get some for my toddler for daycare. HTH!

When my DD started a special needs preschool at age 3 we were still very much in diapers but like you did want to encourage the process they were fine with cloth just said no pins. I sent her in snap EZ AIO trainers http://www.snap-ez.com/CartECOTrainers.html we choose velour inners and they were easy enough for our DD to manuplate for the teacher to manage and assorbent enough for the small amount of time she was in class (they made sure to check diapers take them potty at the start of class and towards the end so she was never like more than 2 hours in one. These are more like a light weight AIO than a true training pant.

I've been eying those too, and are what I was going to suggest. Do you mind posting an update on how well they work?

Mother-ease all-in-ones would be my suggestion. They work great. The only drawback is they take a long time to dry.

I used side-snapping pockets when we were in your place, but they didn't work that well because the required amount of stuffing made them so bulky that the snaps would pop open. Plus, one of the teachers ruined a KND by using Desitin on it. If I could do it again I would have gotten the Mother-ease AIOs and just put up with the drying time.

www.sassycloth.com makes a set of pull-on, side-snapping trainers that are very absorbent. And they are inexpensive.

For a pull up go with Happy Heiny's trainers and stuff with a stuffin or micro insert. Or for a very trim fit go with the Super Undies by starbunz
