Diary of a Worm and similar stories

DSD (who is 7) and my DSS (who is 10) love reading Diary of a Worm (it's a kid's non-chapter, but longer book). The book says it's by the Author of "Click, Clack, Moo" which is something along the same lines, but a cow's diary.

Anyone know of similar stories?

The version of Diary of a Worm that I'm familiar with is a picture book. The author has also written Diary of a Spider. I don't think it's quite as funny as Worm.

The first books that popped into my head as similar are If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and If You Give a Pig a Pancake and If You Give a Moose a Muffin - by Laura Joffe Numeroff.

Click, Clack, Moo is awesome! But it's not really in diary form. If I think of others I'll post again.

Click, Clack, Moo is amazing--and there are several sequels (Dooby Dooby Moo is our favorite, but there is also Giggle, Giggle, Quack; Thump, Quack, Moo and Duck for President are also great). Diary of a Worm also has a couple of sequels--Diary of a Fly and Diary of a Spider.

All of them are wonderful.

For kids' books in diary form, of cousre there's the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series -- the 10-year-old, especially, might like those.
