I checked myself yesterday and it seemed like I have effaced alot more(which I didn't think I would be able to feel) I bet I am like like 75% effaced and 2cm. I will let you all know what my midwife says on Tues.
Also I wanted to share that the reason I am into checking myself often and having the midwife check me is that I want to be a midwife therefore I am teaching myself on my own body. I don't believe my dilation or effacement has anything to do with when I will go into labor. Just thought I'd share
