Sticky Poop?

My 2.5 yo ds has had sticky but still solid-ish poop for the past 3/4 days. It is a chocolaty brown color that looks ok, and there are (no longer) undigested chunks of food in it (like there often are).

We are gluten, dairy, soy and corn free (and have been for over a year). No new foods have been introduced, but in the last month I have newly supped myself w/ milk thistle, iodine (through tested kelp), and bentonite clay. DS has also recently (for the past 3 weeks) been getting supped w/ vit. D (supposedly corn free--recommended by an ND--Carlson's baby D in coconut oil--which he is fine w/). Sticky poop is not a symptom he has ever had in relation to food sensitivities in the past so I'm unsure where this is coming from.

I also have, in the past few weeks, been treating him w/ a homeopathic remedy that my homeopath and I really feel is the correct one for him...

Also, just fyi, we do lots of probiotic foods, and lots of nutrient dense foods.

Any way some of the new supps I'm taking or the vit. D ds is taking could cause this? What else causes sticky poop? Besides the stickiness of it, it looks pretty healthy, the odor is not horrible, although there is definitely an odor (similar to his old poo smell.)

TIA for any tips!

Hmm... I'm not sure that I'll be much help but here's my bit of experience.

I take Digest Gold enzymes. If I take too many, I end up with sticky poop. Now the only way I could see that applying to your situation is that maybe you've been having too many fermented foods for what your body can handle now? Cause of the enzymes? Sorry that I can't help more!

I've heard of sticky poop as part of the detox process.
