So thanks, ladies!! Can't wait til next month!

And don't you just feel awesome and empowered walking out of the store?

$52 over budget for month. Part of that was costs related to baby getting thrush, but still, going back to envelope system next month... way too many impulse buys using debit card. Also I got lazy and didn't go to Aldi's for our groceries this month at all, even though it is well worth the 10 minutes further drive...

8/31- $51 bike for Jubilee,

I'm guessing I won't get anymore no spends and I know I'm driving the car these next two days, so my month is for the most part over.

But I'm still thrilled because this is the best month I've had in a loooooong time. 8 no drive days is good for me.

I'm ready to power into October. I'll go put up the thread.

My month is wrapping up decently. My grocery spending was spot on, but I did overspend a little for dd's birthday. We spent a ton for medical stuff though and I am coming up short on my savings. Dh was in the ER twice, had a dr's visit, a surgical consult and then surgery to remove his gall bladder. Co-pays and fees have added up to $500. BUT! He is pain free and healthy, so the money is not an issue. And we were able to pay for everything in cash.

5. budgeted purchases but still. i didn't want to have to spend this much! kroger 103.01 (this & whole foods includes NFC), whole foods 30.18 (i've cut way way down on my spending here, can't afford to go all organic), gas 22.22, thrift store & goodwill-5.92, cash from atm 40.00
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.
11. : pizza hut delivery (pizza and wings) 25.00 including tip

25. tonite is our every other friday dinner out, usually somewhere cheap but good.
26. groceries and nfc - the usual in that area. then home depot, loews and office depot. some of that is where the comes in.
27. went back to home depot
28.
29.
30.

Aargh!! Saturday we spent way more than I wanted to!! When we don't have dh's kids he likes to come with me on my errands. I've been wanting to get a home water filter system for quite some time. I figure it will save us money in the long run when we get it installed and quit buying water at the store. Of course while at Loews and Home Depot dh sees things he can't live without.

I feel really good about this month. I sent a monster payment off to the CC company for DH's tractor and also managed to purchase most of the wood pellets we'll need for this winter. Having your heat paid for is such a good feeling. Especially when you live in northern New England!

Month end tallies:
Shopping $50/$50
Home Improvement $50/$50 (still working on our project though!!)
Groceries $300/$300 (especially proud of this as over a $100 was bulk maple syrup and tallow that I bought)
My fun money- $5/$30

I didn't end up tracking no spend days. My spend days were so few, pretty much maybe 6 for me- for groceries. My driving days were about 12.

Nothing else was bought and the things we bought shopping and such were things that were needed, not wanted. We are doing well and holding steady. I will be soooo very happy when this year is done and I have everyone paid off for this pregnancy and birth.
