bleached vs unbleached clotheez prefolds?

Hi all,
Trying to decide between these three indian prefolds (Clotheez from Green Mountain Diapers...)

-Chlorine-Free Bleached (peroxide instead of chlorine so that's good)
-Unbleached
-Organic Unbleached

Who has experience with what type of diaper? Love the idea of organic but it says on the gmd website that they are a bit bulkier but not quite as fluffy. Has anyone used them yet? (i guess they are somewhat new to the market.)

Even if you used different prefolds...what are your thoughts on bleached vs unbleached?

Her is GMD's website in case anyone is interested in learning more about my dilemna

I am not sure if this the the only difference. I am only on day three with CDing and I have the unbleached GMDs. But in the book they sent me just said they could take more washers to reach there full absorbancy because they still have the natural oils and such on them. We were using seventh generation before so I just wanted to stick with unbleach on DD. But we didn't get the organic just regular.

yes...you do have to wash the unbleached a bunch more in the beginning to get the extra oils out. but that isn't a huge deal for me. i am wondering what other advantages the bleached has over the unbleached though?! it seems that the extra washings aside...why would folks choose the bleached ones? am i missing something?!

and if anyone has tried the organic unbleached clotheez...let's hear some reviews!!!

tsuasai...how is cloth diapering going? what covers are you using?

we didn't start using cloth till my son was about 3 months so i need to get a newborn stash for this next baby. then by winter he/she should be able to wear big brother's fitteds. i am excited to do prefolds this time in the beginning...it is something we wish we had tried with our son. we are going to give the snappi a try

I just got some newborn organic prefolds from GMD, but haven't used them yet as this baby's not due until December. I think they've been washed two or three times so far, and they're getting nice and soft. They actually didn't shrink quite as much as I expected, but otherwise they are just nice, soft, regular prefolds. I figured for $6 more I would give organic a try.

As far as bleached v. unbleached, I think some people like white diapers instead of tan diapers. Just a visual "clean" thing.

And we love Snappis here. Have fun with prefolds!

HAven't actually tried them on a baby yet but I have both the regular unbleached prefods and the organic I LOVE the organic there a we bit thicker and wee bit softer than the regular and it really seems to make a diffrence. They don't quilt up quite as much but still do and actually I like that cause then they almost seems a little trimmer even though they are a bit thicker. When I complete my order I plan to do the organics.
