DS is about 4.5 months old. The past week or so he's been VERY picky about his nursing situations. He can be SO hungry (hunger cues like crazy, crying, sucking on everything he can get in his mouth) but if I try to cradle him in our glider he freaks out and starts screaming at me. In situations like this I have to go into the bedroom and lie down and side-lie nurse with him. Most of the time he'll be fine after that.
When he does nurse in our chair it's only for a few seconds (literally 5 or 6 sucks) and he's done. I assume it's when he's thirsty and wants a quick sip or something.
He also seems to know that when we're out he has to nurse cradle style and he does just fine. But when we're at home it HAS to be in the bed.
Is this normal? What's up?
