Now that it's over -Merlin, anyone?

I did a search on the TV show Merlin and found nothing, but if there is a thread, could someone point me to it, please?

In any case, we've been watching it and we love this show! We finally had time to watch the last episode last night. I understand season 2 starts in the UK in September. But there's no word if NBC will even pick it up again. If not, maybe BBCA will show it.

I'm bummed that Nimueh seems to be gone. As written in the show she's not a particularly rich character. But I figured that since they bothered to get Michelle Ryan for the part Nimueh would be around longer.

I think it's a surprisingly well written series, good twists and turns, and they're all decent actors.

A friend of mine said that originally Merlin locked Nimueh into a tree, and maybe we'll find out that's what happened next season. But frankly I thought it was the other way around; Nimueh (or Vivian, actually) locked Merlin into a tree.

It said that it was the season finale which leads me to believe another season will be picked up. I loved watching this series even though it doesn't follow traditional Arthur/Merlin stories.
