Tell me why you love wool! (and all about it too)

I haven't really researched wool soakers/covers at all. I am interested in getting one to try out but I don't know where to start.
What should I look for? How do I care for and treat it?
What do you love about wool? What are the advantages/disadvantages.

I love my wool longies, because they're cute, and they're breathable. I think it gives DD's bum a little break from being closed up in PUL all day. We use longies for naps and when we're at home. PUL pockets when we're out of the house.

I made all of mine myself, so I can't give any recommendations on where to get them, but caring for them is really easy. Every couple weeks (depending on how heavily they're used, I guess) you just wash and lanolize. I use baby shampoo and Lansinoh, but you can get wool wash that has the lanolin in it already. Just hand wash, squeeze the water out, then lay flat to dry.
