diffrence between XS/small MEAF covers

Thread Starter
these were DH favorite covers with my DD so I'd like to get a set to use with my fitted diapers I'll be getting (snugglebottoms newborns and little lion fitted) my question is whats the diffrence between small and XS they are listed as the same weight range but made for "newborns" but why smaller rise smaller leg holes? Should I get both the XS and smalls? or can I jsut go from regular smalls to mediums? Confused...

Okay, they hadn't quite come out with the xs size of MEAF when dd was born, but I believe the xs are made to be used with their xs Sandy's, and the smalls are made to be used with their small Sandy's or their one-size diapers. I have a picture of dd in a small MEAF over a prefold when she was a couple of weeks old and it was huge on her. She was over a month before she grew into the small, so xs would have been great to have since we were not using Mother-ease diapers.

thanks Juliacat. I've been meaning to look into this same question. I was thinking it was just the rise that was different and was planning on the LO just wearing SM after the cord fell off.
I too loved the ME AF and will be doing prefolds with those covers in the beginning.
