Anyone else super, super proud of your vagina?

I don't want to discourage anyone who isn't feeling as physically amazing, but in an effort to balance out my hard times, I'm relishing the fact that my hoo-ha far exceeded my wildest expectations.

I pushed out a 9lb baby (my first baby) from crowning to born in two contractions and had no tearing. None. There was a superficial little mark but that didn't do anything other than mildly sting the first time I peed. I finally worked up the guts to check it out manually and visually today and I am so impressed. I'm a bit puffy still, but only slightly, and the flesh doesn't feel anything other than a bit tired. I believe this must be evidence of God. Divine intervention. I was so SURE that I'd be in so much pain and discomfort and I'm just not. Hallelujah!

Even my first BM wasn't painful! I could feel the hemorrhoids poking out so I thought it would be miserable and it wasn't at all.

In my book, my down-theres are just super outstanding!

I'm proud of my whole body for growing and birthing a beautifully healthy baby. I had the most wonderful labor; it didn't really hurt until transition and that lasted maybe 20 mins. Crowning was very intense but not very painful and baby girl was born after just 20 mins of pushing. A big difference from the 2.5 hours with DS1 and the 45 mins with DS2. I still needed a few stitches for a 1st degree tear but I was expecting stitches again. I'm a tearer.

But yeah, the female body is an amazingly strong and powerful thing. I am in awe of our strength. :

In my book, an hour of pushing and a second degree tear is a gold medal performance for me! I'm in love with my babe and in awe of my body.
