Best at home carrier?

I have a moby and a pouch sling, love them both, they both have their perks, but neither of them seem to work quite right for doing chores around the house with DD. She is 7wks if that helps.

I use either a mei tai or woven wrap for high back carries at home.

definitely. for chores i have to get the baby up out of my way to be efficient at all.

I like using a SSC or mei tia when doing chores. You'll have to find one that works with a newborn though, since some are better than others.

wanted to add that you might also like a chunei with an infant support (some have them and some don't). it is super easy to get a baby on your back with one, and because they don't bear any weight on your shoulders it is great for doing chores without disturbing the baby. i didn't have a chunei until #3 was like 9 months old, so i don't have personal experience with an infant, but it seems like it'd be fantastic with a wee baby.
