Reasons not to use g diaper covers with prefolds?

I used a coupon to by the g diapers starter kit which included 6 covers/liners with plans to use them with the disposable inserts on a trip. My dd has also just outgrown the size small Bummi covers we've been using with diaper service prefolds. When we get back from the trip, is there any reason I couldn't just use the g diapers with prefolds instead of buying more Bummis?

Anyone doing this who has any laundry tips? I did notice that one of the liners seems to have stained already.

Also, the infant prefolds fit in the g diaper liner really well. Is there any reason I should switch to the regular size prefold? DD is 9 months.

I use prefolds (trifolded) inside gDiapers covers. They work great for us.

No comment on the other questions, all my prefolds are from freecycle and I have no idea what size they are, and stains don't bother me. Sorry

I'm a big fan of using what you have, so I say give it a try. If you don't like how they work you can always buy something new, right?

I just picked up some gPants at a resale shop and can't wait to try them. My infant sized seem to fit well in the size M when folded sideways, and I like the fit on my 4 months old. I like that the liner holds the prefold securely. I guess I can form my opinion once they've been peed in.

The infant ones work great as cloth inserts for them. I think they're fine!

I think the g-diaper covers with prefolds or cloth inserts are a great combo.

it is the non-cloth route with the inserts I am not in favor of.

You should do fine with the g-diaper covers. They seem to be an excellent experience cover, or one that people have problems with them leaking.
