Do you like microfibre cloths? People seem to be crazy about them. It's great that they pick stuff up so easily, but then they won't let go of it! It doesn't take long before our microfibre cloths start to get really icky.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Ick, I hate them! The feeling on your hands!!!
I keep a couple in the car for a bit of dry dusting and polishing but I cannot stand to use them wet - especially in the bathroom - blech!!! I find they just push hair and dirt around and gross me right out!
I use rags or the occasional bit of paper towel (i.e. for the toilet)

Ours come out of the washer with stuff still stuck in them. Saw dust, cedar needles, and certain types of crumbs seem to embed themselves in the cloths.

Hm, well, ours don't, never had that problem so maybe it depends on the washer and brand of cloths or summat.

I think they are great! As to the strange feel on your hands; that is WHY they work so well. They are extremely grabby, and will scrub stuff off surfaces more quickly and easily than any other cloths.
After use, you need to rinse them very well, then wash. You can wash the heck out of them with no harm. I throw mine in the dryer even though they say not to. I think it helps keep them in their grabby state.
They last quite long, but eventually they won't wash reasonably clean any more. Then I just toss them or pass them to my husband for garage/shop use. He'll toss them once they are greased up or gunked up too much.
Buy them at WalMart or somewhere similar, in the car care aisle. They are less than $1 apiece that way, so I replace them fairly freely. I'd never buy those costly ones. I think they are basically all the same. Except the Dollar Store ones. I admit they are garbage. Skip those.
