SERIOUSLY considering disposables at night - Page 2

Update: I am now starting to think there is not ANY diaper this boy can't pee through! Even disposables aren't doing it. Sheesh.

I'm having repelling issues with my new GAD semi fitted. Hopefully I'll get that sorted out so I can give it another go.

Still waiting for my VBSN diaper in the mail.

I've put a fleece blanket down on the bed, so at least night-time leaks are getting easier (just change receiving blanket that's on top of the fleece blanket). I'm getting closer and closer to trying EC at night. Might as well let him pee freely in the bed...that's practically what's happening now!

Would a sposie with a fleece cover work?
Why do nights have to be so complicated and frustrating for some of us?

With ds1, the only night solution for him was Huggies pullups sposies. Regular sposies leaked every time. We had to get the pull ups in the next size up. Some store brands worked too, but not all.
Of course, with ds1 I didn't know that diapering forums existed, and tried only a few night time cloth ideas. But I was content to use pullups at night.

With ds2, I use cloth (pocket with large mf insert plus zorb insert) and it works with not a ton of bulk so far. If we need to go any bulkier, I'll use sposies, but for now the sposies leak poo every time, so that's totally a no-go.

I bet a sposie, covered by a thin fitted + a cover (pul or fleece) would hold ANY kid. That would give the escaped pee something to absorb into. Would be kinda annoying to do every night, but it seems bulletproof in theory.
