DD is 21 months old. Last night, I was looking at some pictures from a year ago and remembered that we had a couple of days with 100% catches. Well. That was nice. Not anymore.
Around late November/early December I gave up on nighttime EC because we were going through so many diapers and besides she was protesting the nighttime pottying and diaper changes. I still get an occasional mid-night catch, but it's not a regular thing. There have been a lot of changes, so I wouldn't say we haven't made progress, but I had really hoped she'd be closer to "potty trained" by now.
The downside: We're still having several misses a day, 2 or so at night and 1-4 during the day. Sometimes they're wildly spectacular sudden pees all over the place, too.
The upside: She initiates pottying more and more these days, maybe as much as half the time. We rarely have a poo miss, maybe 1 or 2 when a new tooth comes in, or when we've just moved. She's also getting a lot more verbal. She definitely knows the words for pee and poo (she especially likes pointing out the chicken poo on the porch and demanding that I clean it up!)
I wonder if some of the misses might be related to food sensitivity, especially citrus, but I'm not sure if there's a link or if it's all just random.
